Why is it worth to book a home demonstration?
- You can ensure that the mobility scooter is comfortable for you to use and that it meets all your needs. You’ll be able to check that the seat is the right height for you, the handlebars are at a comfortable angle and the footrests are positioned correctly. All of these factors can impact your overall comfort and enjoyment while using the scooter.
- A test drive is also an excellent opportunity to check the safety features of the scooter. For instance, you can test the brakes to ensure that they are responsive and effective. By testing the mobility scooter’s safety features, you can have peace of mind that you are making a safe purchase.
Veleco test drive – how does it work?
Curious how does our home demonstration work? Simply put, we will assemble a brand-new vehicle just for you. You may choose any model of Veleco mobility scooters and electric mopeds you would like to test. All you have to do is choose the model you wish to try out below. On the day of delivery, you will be able to try out the vehicle for a bit. Our driver will walk you through the features of the scooter and will show you how to use it safely. If you book home demo of either of our mopeds, you will be obliged to show our driver document entitling you to drive mopeds, i.e. your CBT course passed confirmation.
How much does a home demonstration cost?
Mobility scooters test drive fee is £50. Electric mopeds test drive fee is £250. If you liked the vehicle you’ve tested, we will consider the home demonstration fee to be a pre-payment; outstanding amount is the balance. Should you choose not to keep the scooter, test drive fee is non-refundable.
At Veleco, we offer test drives for all our mobility scooters and electric mopeds. Test drives are available within Mainland UK, with limited availability in Scotland and selected EU countries.
Please note that we are currently unable to offer test drives in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and other island locations such as Cyprus, Mallorca, or Sicily.
After placing a test drive order, our team will contact you to confirm whether a test drive can be arranged at the location provided in your order.
The waiting time for a test drive is typically between 5 and 12 working days after placing the order. Please remember that each home test drive is treated as a separate order, so the fee of £50 or £250 (depending on the vehicle type) applies per vehicle and does not cover multiple scooters.
